A quick hello from the creator of APW
Hi there, I’m Ted, the creator of ActualPlay.World, and if you’re reading this, you’re probably at least a big of a nerd about RPGs as I am.
I’ve been listening to RPG actual plays since I first found out about Nerd Poker (about a million years ago now) and I’ve never stopped. More recently, it occurred to me that there’s never been a centralized repository for RPG actual plays, and that if there was, it might be a good way for people to discover great shows, especially ones that might not already be popular.
And so I built ActualPlay.World. My personal goal is really just to share the love. I love playing RPGs and I love listening to & watching people play RPGs, and I hope this site is able to provide a home for that love and create a community around it.
So while you’re here, find your favorite shows and write some reviews, and if you’re so inclined, join the Discord and let me know what you think! I’m dying to hear all your feedback and ideas.
